“One of your side quests should be to promise yourself that you will reach out to the author and thank them for their work whenever you finish a book.”
Any good anecdotes or responses you’ve gotten from this practice?
Had a great chat recently with Adam Robinson (and even got access to a chapter that he decided to rework for his new book). This works wonders.. you have to practice it a bit (to figure out how to ask good questions)…
Also, unrelated - but are you the writer who recommends custom book printing for rare book PDFs?
I found a collection of my Grandpa’s navy letters from the Korean War when we were prepping the house for an estate sale, that unfortunately we didn’t know existed until after he’d passed. I plan to transcribe them into a PDF, then print in book format and give the books to family members.
Could you remind me what the service is? I was having trouble finding it. Thank you!
